My group was tasked with creating an ident for Mustard TV, a local TV channel.

Our goal was to use a range of bright and warm colours, an upbeat tone and rhythm to evoke a welcoming feeling.
We took inspiration from the music video "The Lion" by Benjamin Scheuer and Escapist Papers and the 'Origin Trailer' (2013) for Don’t Starve for the use of 3D cardboard cut visuals.

Mustard TV loved our animation. They selected our ident to broadcast on local TV and invited my group to an interview about the creation of the project. It was a rather exciting and a wonderful opportunity to show our work on TV, despite being very nervous!

In the first draft, the bird was originally going to fly through a 'Puppet Theatre-like' entrance and continue to travel to the Norwich Arcade, then fly up above the market and city.
